From a Client in the DCFS Program (this client did not get to connect with her birth son but had this to say):
“I was an addict for over 30 years, got clean in 2009 totally. Made many mistakes but was very hopeful that I would be able to explain to him that I was selfish only for me.” While this client did not received the outcome she had hoped she did express that she was thankful to have been able to try to find her birth son and we felt privileged to be part of her search journey.
